Thanita....
GREAT article!!! I really enjoyed reading your spin on bicycles in women's history Sounds like bikes for women in the early 20th century were the burning bras of the 60's and 70's.

I am ignorant on shipping internationally but why does it take so long for DirtRag, or other publications, to get to UK?

For us to economically send magazines overseas we need to send them economy class, which goes by boat. And boats are slow. Otherwise international subscriptions would be incredibly expensive, as shipping an individual magazine via airmail can run between $3-5 depending on country. It simply isn't feasible for us to offer an airmail option.

...But back on topic. Herstory.

Polly, why don't you just fly over when the mag is due out here? It'd probably just a bit more expensive than the extra shipping!;)

Thanks, Stumpy, for the kudos.

Pol,

I brought the issue over with me. Want to borrow it for the article?

Chris, how are you liking old Blighty? Are you in Tod? Did you ride the packhorse trails?

Jeff,

I am indeed in Tod! Having a fab time here. Haven't ridden the packhorse trails yet, however today we did do some rather Cheeky stuff and wound up having a couple of pints in Stubbings!

Jeff!

I'll be meeting some of the others in the picture tonight. I've already met Mark (of course) and Dave, and well, Chipps. The rest of the left side will be on the night ride this evening.

And how 'bout that picture you got today, eh??
