Here in NH our Dept. of Economic Resources and Development is facing a 600K budget cut. Under this Dept. is the NH Bureau of Trails. It will be interesting to see if the cuts trickle down to them. The Bureau awards grants for construction and maintenance of trails, but most of the work done is by volunteers and not state employees.
How is the funding in your state? What access do you or your club have to grants, and how many of us have told our state trail bureau that we are there to help?
