Hey. Does anybody in the Pittsburgh area ride at Hartwood Acres or any other local places? Maybe we could hook-up sometime.

I've ridden at Boyce and Frick parks mostly, but have made the trip up to Hartwood - it is well worth it. Boyce is a lot of fun too, and Frick is convenient.
Further out Seven Springs/Hidden Valley and the Laurel Mtn. summit really let you stretch out. I know Laurel Mtn. & 7 Springs areas fairly well and will likely be headed that way soon.
You'd be welcome to join us sometime for a ride, let me know where you're interested in going and typical days you're available.
Do you know Hartwood real well?
mountainbikepittsburgh.com would be a good place to join a ride, but the site hasn't quite taken off yet.

I know Hartwood pretty well. I ride there every weekend.
I'm trying to find some experienced riders to learn the "tricks of the trade" from. I ride Freestyle Street BMX in my free time, so I know how to bunny hop and stuff, but I still need some help on technical trails.

There will be folks at the Pignic who can help you out.

I won't be able to make it to the "Pignic". There's a Month of Mud race I'm going to. :(
