Good to see Dirt Rag now has a place for the dirt cycling community to swap recipes and stuff. Are you trying to dig up the oldest threads on the forum?
I was doing food-related searches and apparently did.

Hi yinz's,
I am trying to remove a B/B from an old steel aro frame that was out in the weather for sometime without a seat post. Suspect brocolli has leaked down seat tube and rusted B/B in. Does anyone know of any tricks. I am about to reach for a hammer and cold chissel.

After you try the penetrating oil , try a little heat. If both of those fail, I have had some success with a hacksaw blade. Make a cut across the BB cup, along the same axis that the axle runs. You have to be careful not to go deep enough to damage the threads. Make a couple cuts about 60 degrees apart. Then a couple taps with a chisel should break it.
