I just made the decision to step to a FS bike after riding a Trek 8700 for 14 years. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a Juliana SL X SRAM. I'm just on the cusp of sizes, between a Small and Medium. I am 5' 1.5" and looking for opinions on which way to go. Thanks for you help!

Are you ordering through your LBS? Definitely, get fitted. Depends a lot on your inseam, length of your arms, etc. I usually say, if you're in between go with the smaller size and a larger stem. Easier to control the bike. Ooooh, I wish I were getting a Juliana!

One more idea: check the unisex SuperLights, too. My wife found the small SL fit her better than the medium Juliana version.
Then she bought a Blur.
Women! I tell ya'

I had the medium (5ft 2") with an 30" inside leg - I sold it recently to make way for a tiny, titus loco-moto - it's beautiful- if rather pink!.
With hindsight I think perhaps I should have bought the small jooly, though I had no complaints and loved riding it - but when i tested the loco it just felt that little bit better...
Have you thought about trying the loco or racer x as a comparison ?

If you have long limbs/short torso go with the smallest Juliana you are comfortable on. If your proportions are different, like long torso/short limbs as my partner's are, go with a Superlight. Marketing department hype says that most women are long limbs/short torso, I don't believe it. Try before you buy.
