Anyone going to WOW in Big Bear?

Hi, I'm new to your forum. I have been riding for 2 years. I'm going up to Big Bear for the Womens Only Weekend this weekend. I was wondering if anyone here is going?

Nope, headed out bike camping in the Deschutes National Forest this weekend. I'm looking forward to no sounds except the river. I'll be so relaxed by the time the weekend is over I may not be able to stand up.

What happens at a women's only weekend?

Hi, Wow was great. Basically Saturday there is clinics taught by experienced women in all areas of Mtn biking. Everything from a beginners clinic covering skills like climbing, cornering, obstacle course, nutrition etc. Intermediate and advanced XC and DH clinics. In the evening there is a "social" . Sunday there are races for all levels both XC & DH. About 300 women all ages and skills. It's a blast. And they have a great raffle. Some lucky gal got a Ellisworth frame. Lots of other swag. I managed to trash my ankle mid day Saturday so I was unable to race Sunday :( But it was a great trip anyway :D
