The US Forest Service & SDMBA is requesting volunteers to help finish trail work in Southern California's Laguna Recreation Area Saturday, November 6th. We will be cutting back and removing brush on the lower section of the "IMBA Epic" Noble Canyon Trail, about a half hour hike in to the trail work location. This will finish off the much needed maintenance for one of Cali's finest trails! (Ranger Dave Volgarino and the Laguna Hotshots fire crew have finished cutting back the brush on Indian Creek Trail)
All tools and training will be provided. Bring water, eye protection, sturdy shoes sunscreen and a snack. Any kind of gardening gloves are useful as well.
Meet at the Pine Valley trail head at 8:00 am, we will then car pool up Pine Creek Road approx 2 miles to access the trail work location.
Bring your bike for a ride afterwards.
Your participation in this event WILL help create more trail access by proving how important this MULTI-USE trail is to the mountain biking community.
Directions: I-8 East to Pine Valley Exit, left on Old Hwy 80 to Pine Creek Road, right at Noble Canyon Trail parking lot.
