IMBA Report Card

I see that IMBA has their 2004 report card available to fill out. Does anyone know what this is supposed to accomplish? I know we will get to see results on how people rate the state of mountain biking in their state, but does IMBA do anything with this info...other than just publish it?

I've thought about this before. I came to the conclusion that whether IMBA does anything about it or not, you can. If your state has a low grade, do something about it. Become more involved. Do some trail work, write letters, etc.

Do some trail work, write letters, etc.I think you are right and this is part of the purpose of the report card. Some people aren't spurred to action unless there is a problem. This lights a fire under their asses.

Actually, seeing the "grades" of the states made me want to move to the better states, not improve mine!

Anyway, it seems like there should be more than just two questions on the questionnaire. How can you get a complete picture like that?
