Check out www.iplayoutside.com for an on-line petition to help keep current trails in WV open to mountain biking. If the park service desinates the land as "Wilderness Areas", biking would become illegal on many trails that have been traditionally used for riding.
Canaan Valley lost many trails when certain areas were purchaced/ acquired by Fish and Wildlife. It is Ok to shoot the critters, just don't bother them on your bike! If you like to ride in WV, or think you would ever like to ride in WV, please take the time to fill out the petition.
