Yes there are!

I mostly travel on the weekends (to ride elsewhere). But I spend my weekdays bike commuting to work in Indiana and doing training rides around Indiana. For numerious reasons, I mostly end up riding my mountain bike on backroads... especially now that it gets dark early... my normal training loop takes me south to Homer City and back to Indiana on the Hoodlebug Trail (as it get darks).

I only do a little trail riding in the immediate area.... White's Woods/IUP Co-op, State Game Lands. I'd be interested if you know of any other trails that available.

Man! I used to ride around campus...when I went there way back when. Last time I was on campus a few years ago, I was doing trials stuff on a bench when the president of the school walked by. I forget his name, but he gave me a really dirty look. There still two shops in town? Funny...I left that school to take a job at Dirt Rag....

lockwood, i skate on campus. we've been busted. i'm only in high school. i plan to go to pitt. i've only ridden my bike across campus a few times, i don't do trials. i did some stair sets though, north shore style. that's cool that a dirt rag employee got schooled in my home town. we have some killer ridin around here. yellow creek state park has some killer singletrack. not many people know about it. there were four shops in town. there was indiana schwinn, cycle sport and ski, a bmx shop and trails end. now cycle sport has moved to greensburg and schwinn has been sold, but is still there. trails end is moving into the old cycle sport building. the bmx shop is pretty focused on their skate park they run, so they only do a lot of ramp stuff, and a little dirt jumping, but i respect it. those guys go big. we did do a ride every wednesday at cycle sport at six, we'd ride at white's woods and sometimes at yellow creek, but i haven't heard whether we are going to continue those rides or not. i would like to start a club, but i'm only 17 and i'm busy with school and such, so i'm not sure it'll work out. i'm gonna try though. i welcome any help. i'd like to reach out and get some more mountain bikers here in indiana.

When did Cycle Sport Move to Greensburg and where is it ?

i wanna say it moved about a month ago, but i may be wrong, it may have been longer. i knew the owner, kinda. he was a real jerk when i wanted to buy something, he'd always tell me i didn't need it. he was real nice when i rode with him though. we rode every wednesday, a bunch of us. i don't know where in greensburg it is. i wish i did, i'd go visit. i wish they were still here, that was my favorite shop. it had a hometown feel. things change. brem71, jhl99, you guys going to the punk bike enduro? i was going to, but i need a ride. so if either of you are in the area of indiana that weekend and feel like being generous.............
either of you just wanna ride some sunday afternoon before the snow hits?

Hey Instigator....if I'm ever up in that area again, I'll drop you a line. I actually live in Philly now....have been here for a few years. But I sometimes make it up to Saint Francis Colle....I mean....Saint Francis University. That's where I did my undergrad. And as for the punk bike...I won't be there this year. I was going to go, but it is Thanksgiving weekend. Gotta do the family thing. Have fun....
