Ever since I first heard of the 29" wheel about two years ago I have loved the Idea and wanted one very badly. That fever grew even more strong when the KM was introduced and it looked like I was going to be able to get into one relatively cheap. I have watched this forum, searched out other info on the net and spoken at length with anyone who had even heard of 29ers. I even went and demoed a Fisher to make sure that this was going to be really what I wanted. Big snow years with lots of skiing, trips to europe and the alps, and a move to england have all delayed the reality of me riding my next bike, a 29er.

Now the day has come. Shiny black cromo frame in the stand. Wheels freshly been built. Components scattered about the workbench. Today is the day all of the peices of my dream lay before me and I will create my own destiny. As you can tell I am very excited and want to thank you for listening to my vent as I wanted to share my joy with others that have the same feelings. And for anyone out there that has a simaler dream of bikes and riding them keep pushing forward and that dream will be realized.

Is that a great feeling or what?

Picture is on it's way. I am not currently in the UK but will be back there on December 15th, 04. Would love to meet up with any brits reading this or hook up with any Americans traveling in the UK.

What frame are you building up?

There's a fair number of Brits on here, and I'm in the UK currently. What part of the country will you be in?

It's funny, I built a KM about 8 months ago and that's all I ride. The other bikes just sit in the garage.....

You're gonna love it! You better get those pics posted quickly!!!

:)
