What I saw was on the 'tourist coast' and was big mountains with smoothish XC tracks. Some go over pretty high passes. Many were the original donkey tracks between villages that are rarely used now that new vehicle roads have been built. The country is fantastic and the people the most hospitable you could wish to meet. Also it is very cheap!
