"Wife busted me trying to sneak more bikes into the stable." -Truth
New frame professionally modified with Columbus Track fork ends to create VCL, variable chainstay length, 16.5-17.5". (I made that VCL thing up myself.) Cromo steel of course with 73 degree seat tube and 72 degree head tube. I would call it a medium large frame, suspension corrected and ready for a fork. Red paint with ovalized down and top tubes for great stiffness and power transfer when hammering. Dual bottle braze-ons, top routed cable stops, great for those musically inclined types.
Now it is time for the goodies. Most are new, some are used but in excellent condition.
Wheels- Peregrine Madd Max flip flop with get the funk out lacing pattern on front, triple cavity rims with double eyelets, A premium hand built huck proof. Huge high polish hubs, silver spokes with black Alloy nipples and silver rims.
HS- New StrongLight RockStrong 1 1/8 roller bearings, smooth
Bar- Titec HellBent riser bar
Grips- New Oury grip in Red
Stem- New 120mm Flip Flop A1 Specialized stem
BB- New Shimano cartridge square taper
Cranks- New Stronglight Rhino Rockstrong in black 175mm, 110BCD
Rings- New Stronglight non ramped 110BCD 36 or 38 with single chainring bolts.
Post- New Bontrager easy adjust tilt design.
FWs- Specialized 15T and 17T
Chain- new KMC
Customize your SS with your own brakeset, fork, seat, pedals, tires, tubes, air.
I also have other drivetrain options, with different gearing combos, spare FWs, chainrings.
