Some of you may know about this but Surly is going to make a frameset specifically for 29in wheels. I read about it at singletrackworld.com, here's a link to the article http://www.singletrackworld.com/article.php?sid=763

The frame isn't on the Surly website, so I sent them a e-mail to ask about it and got a speedy response from Andy Corson who says the details are in their catalog and that it will be available in Feburary.

I have a copy of their new catalog, I'll be selling their bikes in the spring. If anyone is interested I'll post a scan, or, I'm sure DR has one in their files that they can share. It's a sweet looking bike.

<edit> On second thought, I don't want to piss anybody from Surly off by releasing part of their catalog early. :D

I'm not sure of the appropriate answer, so I'll give two:

1--Not my bike, I stole the pic off the internet, but yes, its a 40 I hear.

2--Is there an echo in here? Because that's exactly what someone asked on mtbr.com.

That's what I thought. The memory of those college nights when we'd slam a couple of Old E 40's makes my stomach quiver.
