i need to order some tubes for my friend's gary fisher 29er. thing is, we're on an island in the middle of nowhere and no one knows the diff in tube sizes.

700 x 19/25 or 700 x 52/47

logic says that the 19/25 would be smaller. road tires?

where can i order 700cc mtn tubes online? they'd be shipped to Puerto Rico...

you need to look at tubes that are 700c x 47-52. anything smaller might work in a pinch, (only a little smaller,) but the tube would be stretched really thin. stick with the larger size. as for online purchase, most "big box" onlin dealers, (i.e. jenson usa,) should offer at least one or two options for tubes. my advice, go with the salsa super lights if you can find them, they're light as hell, (less to pay for shipping!) and they just work well.

Big 26" tubes will do as well, 26x2.1-2.3 and such. Just a bit harder to get mounted initially, but some pre-pressurizing normally does the trick to stretch them.
