I just bought one, an AC-Air. Great bike so far, especially on the downhills.
What have people done to theirs? I'm curious about mods that others have tried (successfully) and setting up the suspension properly. I 'm not sure that I trust the SID Air shock, but so far its working ok. I'm still futzing with it.
Things that I'm thinking of, since this will be my bike for the next several years:
New rear shock (Romic/Fox/Progressive)
Z1 Bomber ( has a Black 100/120)
A nicer, lighter set of wheels

I've upgraded the stem and bars, so far. I won't be spending too much, but I might upgrade the seatpost.

Hi!
Don't have the AC Air, but do have an AC Team frame. Love this bike...I've got a RS Pro Delux shock, Shiver Single Crown, mainly XTR, DT FR hubs with Mavic 317 rims, and a pair of deore hubs with X3.1 UST rims - for more freeride.
Thoughts....the bike is quite heavy but works well in the woods, the SID shock is great and should be OK on this frame, just take the time to play with the negative spring - so as to reduce bob, but still keep it plush.
The Shiver is the best fork I have ever owned. And the travel matches this bike well in the two shorter travel options - if you move to the longer think about something a little longer!
UST - I'm sold. I will never build another set of non-UST wheels for my own Mtb, try the new freeride oriented rim from Mavic: expect to pay a littlr more for the build than normal - it's a B***H!
Allround this is a great freeride/ heavy enduro( all mountain, whatever) frame, with the weight saving of the SID rear shock it should be fun...enjoy, happy trails!
