I've been reading the posts here for awhile and decided to finally register my lazy ass! You guys/gals sound pretty hard core! I was wondering how long your commutes are? Mine are 5 miles each way with occasional 2-3 mile extensions. Peace.

15 miles one way when im not too lazy and drive, which i do too often in shitty indiana winter weather.

8.6 miles round trip through the most brutal traffic in the whole city. I just ride my Mountain Bike as it is an Urban Warrior Baddass. But the weather has got me down, it's been raining or snowing here since November. Currently driving the Honda.

my commute varies from 1/2 a mile to 9 miles each way. it all depends where i have to do my errands for the day. i always take my fixed gear road bike, but when the snow falls i break out my single speed mtn bike. it destroys.

Mine varies quite a bit as well, four or five miles each way maybe. I offload, turn around and head out on a night ride - it's sloppy here but free of snow in the valley.

4 miles to work, 4 miles to Grumpy's Bar, 1 mile home. That's my isoceles circuit on days I feel like watching hockey and drinking a James Page while eating tater tots. Otherwise it's just the 4 out and 4 back. I love living downtown.

Just got a new 24-incher to try this ride on, which should make it more fun what with the standing and leaping and all.
