so the weather was so damn nice out today that i decided to go for a ride. on the way back i was in a killer headwind and i ran into a light just before i was going to turn out of the headwind. that was when i heard the best comment yet while holding a trackstand..."are you a jedi?". that gave me just enough of a boost to pedal my worn out butt home.

I was thinking more along the lines of Darth Maul.

I don't know if a Sith Lord is officially a jedi though.

Well, it was so damn warm up here (it's not nice! there should be snow, cold, frozen tundra!) that I took the fuji out for an easy 20. fixies are awesome rides. However, since people 'round these parts don't care for bikes too much, I didn't get any jedi comments. Of course, part of that could be my ninja stealth!
Happy riding!

My trackstands.... eh, they're okay. I don't practice enough. i'd like to get better just because it looks cool. I like to nose wheelie to a stop and watch the expressions on people's faces when they think I'm going to pull a header into traffic.

I can't really track stand so well, so I just lock both brakes and Jump up and down... like a repeated bunny hop over and over and jumping higher and higher while making loud gutteral primitive noises.
