ok so yet again i come to the forum to pander for help. lets just say i wanted to mount a pace rc31c fork on my ss. where the heck would i find one. second, would i be better served spending the cash on a good brown ale and keeping my cromo rigid fork? let me thank you in advance for your feedback.:D

First, how much will it cost you?
I did a quick search and noticed they are definately not cheap, but look pretty cool and weigh in pretty damn light.
So with that said, I'll ask this:
What kind of frame are you riding? I have a ti fork that is cut to around (I think) 210mm of steerer tube, with tubes tapered in order to provide a rigid fork with some vibration dampening. It weighs about 500 grams (all ti construction) but only has canti mounts.
What I'm suggesting is you can have your beer and drink it, too. I'm going to sound like an advertising plug, but only because I have soooooo much bike stuff that I don't use and am running on a college budget. So, if you are interested, talk to me.
Otherwise, go for the beer. Or Andy's special driving fluid, as I like to call it. (for car video games only)
