Bike Commute Scapegoat

An interesting story indeed. to go to bed and to hear noise in your driveway,at 2:30am i look out my window and see headlights, so i got out of bed and went outside and confronted about 10 county cops, all of who swarm in and start questioning and ask to search my house. Apparently someone broke into the liquor store, and since i rode through that parking lot 2 days ago and rode past it that day they followed the bike tracks all the way to my house, saying there were broken beer bottles by the tracks in the parking lot. they even confiscated my shoes, and the worst part is the tread pattern matched prints in the store, DAMN kmart shoes, damn them all. The only thing that saved me from being taken away was a security tape and a hat they found. Thats just about my most interesting biking story.

WOW! that's insane! for a moment i was thinking that it was the liquor store in kokomo and i was like why the hell would they follow bike tracks for such a distance, then i was like ohh yeah there's one in town..hahaha silly me. good thing they didn' take you away, that would've sucked! Don't have any stories to top that one, but i did get to the bike shop today and got me some cleaner and lube...and a pretty RED water bottle cage :D

i dont think im as much a suspect now. i tracked down the one town cop to tell him a few more details to mroe remove myself from suspicion. And he told me he knew it wasnt me. he was in the process of walking to the front door of a house that a few of the local scum live at. So i think the surveillance tape and the hat they found saved me. Now the only question left, when will i get my shoes back?

And to bicycle boy, i cracked a smile about the water bottle cage.
