i've actually just begun, the past few days all i've wanted to do was ride, so that's what i did..till i couldn't feel my fingers and my lungs burnt like mad..feels good

or the cutting through some guys yard and wiping out on his drive way cause of snow and ice. Then trying to leave no trace of your short cut even thought the snow shows a clear track. I love this time of the year.

And riding to the store or to the trails in the park for a ride and seeing the tracks you left a week ago, combined with every ride since then. Theres nothing better than seeing bike tracks in the snow, especially when the only other tracks are car tracks, or that single pair of bike tracks winding off into the distance, the only disturbance visible on the fresh layer of snow. Or that sweet ever so subtle peace and silence that pervades everything on those cold still nights where the only sound is the snow chirping beneath your tires.
