Weather like this always spells some interesting wrecks and wipeouts, what has your worst one? i was commuting from work on the way to the west side of town on a slushy icy road, then i hit some diagnol railroad tracks, bam, im sliding into a slushy puddle, ass and gloves wet for the rest of the ride.
not a big wreck but there are always great slideouts in this weather.

There is an open-grate metal bridge on my ride home which also happens to be at the bottom of a hill. One night I hit it and started drifting. I slammed into that cold ass steel before I knew what was happening. My left pedal spindle bent and I tweaked my front rim somehow, but came away with nothing worse than a bruised hand and a renewed fear of icy metal surfaces.

The conditions in our local mountains were great this past weekend for XC skiing, so I got in two days of kickin n glidin. Only crashed once, big downhill, no metal edges. Normally not a problem, 18 inches of snow is soft. But my mountain bike instincts took over and I tried to tuck and roll. Not a good idea with six-foot boards attached to your feet. Tweaked my ankle a bit and came up looking like Frosty The Snowman.
