Their charging me ten bucks a 12-pack for this stuff at the liquor store and three bucks a bottle in the tavern. Why don't they just call it American Heineken. Last time I was out east, it had that "regular guy" quality about it. Has something changed with Rolling Rock? Folks here in the Midwest keep telling me it's "yuppie" beer.

Yea, once they realized they had a following they figured they could raise the price to yuppie level. I say it's just another pisswater american beer, not that there's anything wrong with that. I prefer Iron City in 16oz returnables.

out in Denver the bars have figured out that so many kids drink Pabst Blue Ribbon for it's price, it's become fashionable. now it's three bucks a cup, when 1.50 would likely do ya just fine. Shwag beer everywhere is falling prey to the age of economics

Now THAT is unjust! They better not pull that stuff with PBR here in Philly. Aside from price, why do so many bicycle-types always turn to PBR? I swear it is either really good beer or Pabst.
I'm sittin' up here in Alaska when I noticed in the small sea-side town (Whittier) a sign for Rolling Rock. After an inquire within, it's $4 a bottle! Now it's not every day that you get to see a Rolling Rock sign on the outside of a bar with smoked salmon and fried halibut sandwiches listed underneath but even way up here in AK pieces of PA persist(with a price!). Yuppie beer, maybe?!, to me it's the same at it ever was, light beer in a green bottle and many myths about how the "33" wound up being printed on the side. Looking forward to central PA ridin' and a cold case of Yuengling Porter!!! Now that's Pennsylvania!!!!!!!!!

National Bohemian Beer, From the Land of Pleasant Living Baltimore Md.
It is still only 7 dollars a case, I see the hometown beverage going the way of the $4 dollar pint. If anybody has a chance to grab some good mexican in the B-More area try Nacho Mammas inthe Canton square. Good food and the decor is all Natty Boh .
