Indeed she does rocky. She's hard to keep up with at times...makes it fun!

I have always like the look of gals with strong physiques shaped by their sport and not endless aero-bunny hours at the gym for the sake of vanity.

Shook hands on a deal this morning on selling my 2008 Rocky Mountain Vertex Team to my friend/work mate Daniel who is getting into mountain biking. He is currently riding his wife's 16" GT. The RM is a super bike, but is just taking up space in my mom's garage. I need to make room for a Seven Expat S.

16" to 19" frame is quite a jump, I can't even hit the saddle on a 16" frame with my feet on the pedals. How tall is your buddy Daniel?

Been in an electric blackout therefore the delayed reply...

Daniel is 6'2"...I put a 150mm Control Tech stem on his bike to stretch him out a bit more. His seatpost is maxed and he is still not quite the right leg extension. The bike flops around on the climbs due to that tiller out front.

That GT must weigh >30 lbs mainly in the wheels/tires. The Rocky Mountain will be quite the upgrade...and he got the green light from his wife to do the GDMBR with me this summer.

Oh yeah, 6'-2" would work on the Vertex. I'd need a 500mm seatpost with 50mm of setback and a 200mm stem to get a 16" frame to work for me.

Rocky, I say I want a Seven Expat S (or Sola 29er) but this opens the door for a Vertex RSL!

I was out on my Vertex RSL today, aside from the loss of fitness from only riding 3 times in the last 3 weekends, and all the mud, it was a smile inducing ride.
