For those who missed the web debut of legendary bicycle brand Ibis, it’s back, and in a big way. Back in 2000, Ibis made a strategic move to bring in outside investment. They quickly moved production to Montana, and founder Chuck Ibis (Scot Nicol) left the company. Shortly thereafter, the company fell on hard times and the brand folded. Only the lucky few remained in possession of Ibis bikes.

Today, Scot Nicol, along with two partners and a designer by the name of Roxy introduced the new Ibis Mojo, a 5.5” travel full suspension complete carbon fiber bike. Based on the DW Link suspension concept, the Mojo can be built to a sub 26lb. racer package, or a sub 30lb. trail riding machine. It fits up to 2.5” tires and features easy to service bearings and pivots. Available in sizes small (15.5”) through x-large (21”), the Mojo can be had by frame only for about $1900 or in a complete build for $3300–4400 ($4240 pictured).
