Stolen Bike Registry
By: Karl Rosengarth

StolenBicycleRegistry.com, a free online resource for listing and locating stolen bicycles, announces "WatchList"—a free bimonthly email list of stolen bikes. WatchList contains detailed information and photographs of the stolen bikes in a selected city, state, or zip code. WatchList is useful reference for bike shops, biking enthusiasts, law enforcement or anyone interested in fighting bike theft. You can sign up for WatchList here.

"The Stolen Bicycle Registry was my attempt at using the web to help combat bike theft, and so far I've been pleased with the results," says SBR founder, Bryan Hance. "The demand is there for a localized, printable list, and we just registered our 500th bike, so it's time to unveil a new tool for helping combat bike theft." All WatchList and StolenBicycleRegistry.com online tools are provided free of charge.
