Fun Ride With Tinker Juarez
By: Karl Rosengarth

The Dirt Rag crew will attest to the fact that the Subaru 24-Hour Champion Challenge is lot of fun. There's free camping on top of the mountain at Seven Springs ski resort—and a top-notch race course that offers a perfect blend of rocky technical sections and fast, swoopy singletrack. Fielding a Dirt Rag team (or two) for this "backyard" event has become a Labor Day weekend tradition.
This year the fun quotient has been raised by the announcement of a fun ride with Tinker Juarez on Friday, September 1st at 2:00 p.m. It's not every day that mere mortals get a chance to ride with a guy with world class trail cred: four-time solo endurance National Champion, three-time professional men's U.S. National Champion, two-time Olympian, Pan Am Games Gold Medalist, World Championship Silver Medalist, and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member. For more information about the 24-Hour Champion Challenge and the fun ride with Tinker, visit the event web site.
